Lepidiolamprologus hecqui are shell-dwelling cichlids from Tanganyika. They get along well with Altolamprologus, Julidochromis, and other Neolamprologus, though they can be aggressive so plenty of space should be awarded to them.
These fish are sold in packs of 5 or more due to their social nature.
