They are uncommon in the aquarium hobby, adding to their allure as a unique, sought-after fish. During the rainy season male coloration intensifies greatly turning bright blue and orange. These peaceful gobies eats algae and other biofilm in the tank, making it a great tankmate in a solo or community tank. When kept in groups, they will also exhibit interesting behaviors such as courtship behaviors and females congregation!
